Hi Vanessa! Great video, your recipe reminded me of Bagel Spice a product with pretty much the exact same ingredients you used. It might be easier to just buy the mix. http://www.bagelspice.com

Tony,
Thank you so much for your comments. I didn’t even know there was an everything bagel mix product out there! Now, that product would be great if you’re frugal with your spices. My husband and I on the other hand, use the mix practically everyday. I checked out the link and it looks great but it cost $4.99 for 2 oz. The mix I made on the video made approximately 22oz (a little more than 2 cups worth of mix). I did a quick calculation and I figured out it cost about $4.90 for the 2 cups or $.22/oz. I’ve been making this mix for nearly 2 years and this was the first time I calculated the price. I was actually pretty surprised how cheap it is to make. So, thank you on two counts: introducing me to a new product and for dusting off the cobwebs in my brain as I did my mathematical calculations…I haven’t exercised it like that since my grad school stats class a decade ago!!!!

Great recipe & I love your ideas on how to use the mix other than just as a bagel topping. I was going to use this as a biscuit topping & just make a little, but w/your suggestions, I’m going to make the whole batch. Thanks!

Faith…glad you like the recipe! We also use our everything bagel mix in our scrambled eggs, on our roast beef sandwiches, and on our steaks. It’s not just for bagels anymore! Have fun and happy eating!

I checked out half a dozen “everything” style mixes and none of them really looked like they would be all that amazing until I came across this one. And it did NOT disappoint. I made some low-carb crackers using Joseph’s wraps from Walmart the mix Vanessa posted here, and they were delicious Even my girl friend, who tends to be a little fussy about minor consistencies, said the mix made them taste like real crackers. Not sure how you guys figured out proportions and ingredients, but nicely done!
