To-Do List: Get Back to the Basics

Oh boy.  Thanksgiving break is over and it’s back to the grind!  After the past week’s feeding frenzy and lounging around, you may have come to the same realizations that I did:

1. A seriously long workout (or two or three)  is definitely in order with nothing but salad on the menu for the rest of the week, and…

2. There’s a heck of a lot of stuff to do with catching up on work and preparing for Christmas that’s only a few short weeks away!

My to-do list started to grow in my head to the point of inaction. I actually found myself struggling with where to start. But then I snapped out of it and got back to basics by consolidating my to-do’s into one list and picking only a couple of priority tasks to tackle each day. Ironically, I came across this article by a leading professional organizing expert, Julie Morgenstern…and she is spot on!
