Wow! Can’t believe it’s been a year! I heard somewhere that most blogs don’t make it past 90 days. Now, I had no idea about that statistic when I first started the Get Simplifized blog…nor did I have any idea that I’d have readers from over 40 countries, subscribers on Kindle and thousand of views of my videos on my Get Simplfized YouTube channel. Honestly, I really had no idea at all what the heck I was getting into when I started this fun little hobby called a blog. In fact, I still have trouble today identifying myself as a blogger…but I am!
As with all things worthwhile, it’s been quite the roller coaster ride…lots of ups and downs and countless tears. Yes folks…tears! I mean seriously? Who knew writing could bring one to tears?! There were so many times that I wanted to quit. I struggled with what to write, how to write, who to reach out to and trying to figure out the real purpose of the blog. Miraculously, I didn’t quit (not that I had a choice…quitting isn’t in my nature…and I think God had a little something to do with it)!
So here we are a year into this little adventure and I think…no…I KNOW we’re going to keep going strong! I want to thank all of the Get Simplifized readers for your support and being part of our community. Your comments and support have encouraged me more than you know. It’s funny how one comment can inspire and motivate you to continue on. I’ve always said, that if I can inspire just one person on the benefits of living a more “simplifized” life, then this whole thing is worth it. And although this blog is all about sharing and helping others…I think it’s probably helped me just as much and even more!
So, thank you! Thank you for sticking with Get Simplifized. I’m looking forward to the year ahead and growing with you. Before I go I just want to leave you with this one thought: This blog is for you! Please don’t hesitate to click on the “Contact” button at the top of this page and drop me a line to tell me what you think…what you like…what you don’t like…what you’d like to see more of…or what your challenges and successes are. This is your blog and your community. It’s all about connecting, sharing and helping eachother out. It’s all about living a “simplifized” life.

Hi, Karen! How are ya? Pantries are always an issue because the whole family uses it…and they use it EVERY DAY, right?! I’m actually going to write a post about how to organize your pantry but to give you a heads up…my two secrets are really simple: 1) keep like items together and 2) use containers!!!! There are a bunch of cool organizing tools to help you…stay tuned for my blog post. Maybe I can give you an idea or two. Thank you so much for your comment!!!!
